Beautiful cathedral in need of attention. No guide no directions. Driver was nice

Having no guide which was part of the deal. The driver and car were very nice but we were dropped off down the hill. There is a lot of consruction and no signs to indicate where to enter. We spent a while trying to find the entrance and all sides are barricaded. The chapel itself is great and worth visiting.

This is just a private driver trip. The review is not a reflection of the driver it is a reflection of the trip description and the price charged. He was great and communicative. For the price paid I was just expecting fully guided experience. It worked out though because we were able to go on our pace through the church, town via the Little Train ride, and the shops.

Chartre is a must see for visitors to Paris. It’s one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in Europe. Our driver was considerate, personable, and knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

Of course the Cathedral. However the village center, cafes, and overall architecture was charming. While we’ve seen many “villages” in the countryside, this had a more “modern” vibe without loosing the village charm. It was also very nice not to be on a scripted tour, go where we chose and spend as much time in a shop, historical site, or just wander as we chose.
Our driver was respectful, knowledgeable, and courteous. He receives 10 stars. The car was brand new, clean, and spacious.
