    Stop atPyramide Du Louvre

With a collection of over 35,000 works on display, Paris' Louvre is the largest, most influential, and most visited art museum in the world. Although it's impossible to do the Louvre justice in just one day, we will grant you intimate access to all of the highlights. From marvelous Greek sculptures like Venus de Milo to dramatic Delacroix paintings, your guide will take you to all of the Louvre's most inspiring masterpieces. Begin by meeting your guide under the statue of Louis XIV in front of the famous glass pyramid, and learn all about the history of this building before it became the museum we know and love today.

    20 minutes (approx.)Admission included

    Stop atLouvre Museum

Your Louvre Museum Tour will take you to all of the most iconic paintings and sculptures housed in two of this massive museum's three wings. Your guide will highlight the most influential works from a wide range of periods including Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, the Renaissance, Neoclassicism and Romanticism. In the Ancient Egypt collections, take a close look at the sleek granite Great Sphinx of Tanis, considered to be the biggest and best-preserved in any Western museum. Explore two of Ancient Greece's globally recognizable sculptures - the armless Venus de Milo and the headless Winged Victory of Samothrace, universally considered some of the best-surviving original Hellenistic sculptures. See Paolo Veronese's Wedding Feast of Cana, JacquesLouis David's Coronation of Napoleon, Théodore Géricault's Raft of Medusa, and more. And of course, the Mons Lisa! Of all the thousands of paintings housed in the Louvre, Da Vinci's Mona Lisa remains its most popular and enigmatic work.

A definite must-do when in Paris!

Michelle_S, Dec 2024

The Louvre is an overwhelming place, but taking this private guided tour is the only way to go. Our guide, Imad, was most informative and we could tell he really enjoys his job. Thank you for a very memorable day!

The perfect way to experience the Louvre

Serena_V, Dec 2024

I loved everything about this tour! It was perfectly organized and our guide was so engaging: thanks to the small group size the tour has been very interactive, I've been able to enjoy every bit of it.

There's a lot going on in Paris with the Olympics, but everything worked smoothly. I highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommend this for those short on time!

Anna was awesome! With her art background, she made the paintings come alive. Even for those of us who are not interested in art she caught our attention with history behind the paintings. We covered a lot in the 2 1/2 hours that we were there. Anna was professional, friendly and a true guide. We really enjoyed our tour. We especially liked the ear pieces, we were very impressed with them. I wish we had them elsewhere on our other tours as well.

Thank you Achilles !

Achilles was amazing! It was my third time in Le Louvre, this time with family. He was very communicative from the start, and was incredibly considerate of my aging parents and found them places to rest throughout the tour. His stories were engaging and it was clear he knew so much about the Louvre and Paris. I would highly recommend Achilles (Achille ?) !

Highly recommend
