Great experience with Paris history

Our guide Maria was amazing. We had a great tour filled with interesting stories and the hauntingly beautiful backdrop of the cemetery.

We booked a private tour. Maria kept us engaged with unique stories of famous and not so famous people buried in the cemetery. We got to see famous tombs of Jim Morrison, Chopin and Oscar Wilde. We got to hear about French vampire stories and myths. Our 8year old was kept entertained by the stories. At the end, the Maria recommended a cafe for us to enjoy.

We had a great morning tour through Pere Lachaise Cemetery. Tetiana was very engaging and had many great stories to share about the the lovers & their scandals. My son & I really enjoyed the park like beauty of the cemetery. It was interesting to hear such diverse history of the people & families buried there. Walking amongst the graves of Presidents, Musicians, Singers, Writers, Artists, Courtesan's, Inventors, Actors, Scientists, Scoundrels, and Lovers was quite an experience. Every style of architecture can be found here. There is absolutely something for everyone at Pere Lachaise. Cemetery cats can be found lurking around every corner.
