A Perfect Day in Carcassonne – Wine, History & Solex Adventure!

We booked the Vineyard Solex Tour and had the most wonderful time! Riding vintage Solex bikes 10 miles out of Carcassonne to the Villa Blanche Vineyards was an unforgettable experience. The ride itself was fun and unique, with just the right mix of adventure and scenery, and the wine tasting was exceptional (six wines, all of which we loved!). Riding back with panniers full of bottles felt like the perfect ending to the day.
Our guide, Diego, was outstanding – knowledgeable, helpful, and above all patient with us as complete Solex novices. He made the whole experience smooth, safe, and full of laughs. This was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever done, and we can’t recommend it highly enough!
A unique experience in Carcassonne

What a beautiful idea that consists of taking tourists to discover Carcassonne by Velosolex! The formulas offered are great and allowed us to drive through the vineyards and splendid landscapes, discover the city in another light, brunch and taste very good wines on the winemaker's land. Day and night we appreciated the sympathy capital that solex arouses among pedestrians during our passage. Do not go through Carcassonne without testing this beautiful and original discovery of our heritage!
