You will pass through several villages in the Rhône Valley on the way. We will stop to admire the vines planted in the very steep slopes. You will learn about the methods of viticulture in the region and the work carried out throughout the year by the winegrowers.

We will make our first stop near the village of Chavanay or Ampuis for a first tasting in a wine estate. Tasting between 4 and 6 wines. Learn about winemaking and aging wines in the region.

Fantastic experience in Northern Rhône out of Lyon

Justine has designed a wonderful experience for both the novice and expert on northern Rhône valley wines. She made sure to connect with everyone while on the tour. The other people we were with were really great and friendly and we all got along during the tour. It is apparent that Justine has a great relationship with the winemakers, the guides, the restaurant and all the people that you will encounter. Being from the area and a former wine met employee, she is very knowledgeable about the wines, the terroir, the methods, process, etc of making wine in the region. Great Full Day Wine Tour

We had a wonderful full day tour with Justine to the Cotes De Rhones wine area. We tasted numerous white and red wines of the region, a little bit of cheese, and Charcuterie at a few stops. Great group of fellow travelers and lots of fun and laughs.

A fantastic tour of the Northern Rhône! We visited only small, family run wineries and the wines were excellent. And Justine really knows her stuff. Very articulate explaining the winemaking process as well as providing a great explanation of the terroir. And she can parallel park that van in spaces that few could manage.

Our guide (and the owner of the company) Justine was very knowledgeable and friendly, and kept everything running seamlessly, We visited 3 different wineries in various appellations and in each place, we tasted 5 wines. The first, Guigal, even had a beautiful museum of wine making. At Remy Nodin, we also toured the back rooms and saw all the equipment for expressing the grapes, the fermentation tanks, and the barrels for aging. It was a real education. And did I mention the delicious lunch in Tain-Hermitage? Justine is a treasure—this is the tour you want to take!
