This is a great opportunity to have a walk in nature, and reach in an easy way one of the main attraction of the area, the calanques (inlets). This calanque is also a marina, you can take stunning photos of the calanque itself, the marina, the sea, the nearby sea-cliff named Cap Canaille.

Free time to discover and enjoy one of the most beautiful French seaside village. If weather is good you can also have the possibility of buying tickets for a boat tour to discover the Calanques (45' tour to see 3 calanques by boat). Or instead have more free time to stroll around the village, take pictures, taste local food and the local produced white wine. Many beautiful and original shops are located in Cassis, offering various shopping opportunities.

Mediocre guide led to somewhat disappointing tour

We were a little disappointed with this experience, especially given all the positive reviews. Our guide was a little overwhelmed and didn’t manage the group properly. She was slightly delayed at the start of the tour and then criticized us for delaying the group by using the restroom! Also, there was one complaining group member but the guide could have managed that situation better and prevented that from ruining everyone else’s experience. We were also told at first that we had to chose between Port Miou and the Calanques boat tour, though other reviews suggest that folks did both. Also, the guide should have been more proactive in sharing information / insights on the locations / things to do, and generally keeping things moving. It seems like other reviewers had better guides and therefore a better experience.
white rocks and azure water

A couple of months ago I saw a stunning picture with white rocks and azure water, then I found out that it has Calanques.
So I was excited about this tour. And yes, in reality I was not disappointed, the tour was fantastic.
The bus is comfortable.
Aaaand Nicolas, he was our tour guide, intelligent, flexible and helpful. :)
Great little trip to do

our group was small so was easily managed by Nikkolas our tour guide. He went over the history and the points of interest during our voyage to Cassis from Aix. Air con van which was good. We had plenty of time to walk the streets and have lunch. Great little spot and recommend this trip

This excursion was wonderful, would give it a 10. Seeing Port Moui and 2 other calanques was a highlight of the trip. That is a separate boat ticket, but is well worth it. Cassis is a cute little town. The view from Cap Canaille is amazing! And Nicholas, our guide, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the area! I would recommend this excursion!!!

Delightful day spent travelling to the picturesque village of Cassis and the the boat trip viewing the callanques just added to the Delightful ambience..our Guide Clement was very personable too. Highly recommend..we would like to return to the area for a swim next time..
