A really enjoyable trip with some stunning scenery!
Caroline, Aug 2020
A really enjoyable trip with some stunning scenery! I've never ridden an electric bike before, but our guide was really supportive along the route, especially when we encountered some difficult terrain. Definitely worth doing!
Great ride!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The Calanques are very beautiful and this is a great way to see them. The e-bikes were of very good quality and Emilien did a great job leading the tour. It is fairly challenging as the roads are rocky and steep in parts - not for inexperienced mountain bikers. My wife was a bit skittish at first with a couple of the downhills but Emilien did a great job coaching her and she quickly got the hang of it. Great day!
Quite a Workout!
Chris F, Sep 2018
This was a great adventure and my wife and I did enjoy ourselves. We have taken many ebike tours over the past few years, however, people booking this ebike tour should know the following:
1. This is not a typical sightseeing romp. You are riding dirt bikes and traveling over very steep, treacherous, rocky trails. It's a workout.
2. There are no saddlebags or front packs to carry anything so bring a back pack if you intend to take anything (like a phone or water)
3. As they state, there is no water provided. Bring lots!
4. Although they say the tour is both English and French, our guide couldn't speak a word of English so we were pretty much ignored throughout the event. That is not a complaint....we are in France - but just know that is the case
5. Do take a bathing suit and take advantage of the swim when you reach the gorge!!
Again,we did enjoy ourselves, but were very surprised at the off-road adventure this turned into. It is not for beginner bikers. One woman - who seemed very competent and fit - fell three times. The third time she scrapped her legs and hands up very badly on the dirt and rock.
Responses from Emilien V
Dear Chris,
Thank you for your review and your visit!
Your details are important, that's why I'm going to answer it.
1. For the 3 hours tour, we take wide rocky paths, it is better to have already done mountain biking. But we do not want to do a workout, it's a discovery tour which is proposed. Our guides are trained to teach you things and take the time to make stops with explanations.
2. Actually we do not offer a bag on the bike, since as previously explained, we run paths that are not suitable for carrying bags. We ask our customers to bring a backpack, if they do not have it we lend it for free.
3. It is defined on all vouchers that water must be brought.
4. We are very sorry for this situation, we had that day a replacement person, indeed on the low season on weekdays it is sometimes difficult to have a good English speaking graduate monitor, but we are doing everything to make it not happen.
5. You are true! Swimming is great! But we can not write on our advertising media to take a swimsuit, because we are a bikes business.
Finally, that's not common to fall during our tours. If this person has fallen several times, it may be that our monitor that has not been attentive enough, and we must not accept this Your opinion urges us to check his action. Safety is a priority for us, as other customer reviews attest.
I hope to have answered your comments and to see you soon!
Best regards,
Superb!

Exceeded all expectations, our group ranged in age from 60's to 20's and everyone had a fantastic time. The bikes are amazing and allow you to enjoy the trip even though its across some pretty steep terrain at times. The Calanques are beautiful and a swim half way is very welcome. I'd do it again!
Great experience!!!

This is a must do when you visit Cassis. It is a beautiful tour with a lot of amazing view points guided by a very friendly guide. He also gives much information about the area.
You don't have to be an experienced mountainbiker.
