Our guide's knowledge of D-Day history and her detailed description of the landing at Omaha Beach were astounding.

Excellent Value for the Cost
This tour was an incredible value. However, be aware that the climb to the abbey at Mont Saint-Michel is more strenuous than indicated in the tour description. I recommend highlighting this fact more prominently. Despite the challenge, I made it to the top as a 75-year-old and had the time of my life. Even if you can't make it to the top, visiting Mont Saint-Michel is a must. Definitely try the €42 omelette at the famous restaurant, La Mère Poulard, at the base—it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth every cent.
A Rewarding and Insightful Tour

Our guide and driver, Emily and Robert, were excellent. Emily was super knowledgeable and provided wonderful insights throughout the trip. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite a busy schedule, everything went smoothly, and we saw a lot of new things. It was truly rewarding!

Nataly made the entire experience outstanding. The itinerary is as complete as time allows for a one-day tour. The historical detail presented by Nataly was respectful and wonderfully conveyed the significance of D-Day.
A cool 2 days escape

We had a great time visiting Rouen and Honfleur—the cathedrals were absolutely stunning. We did wish for more time at Omaha Beach, but the rest of the tour made up for it. The hotel we stayed in was decent. Mont Saint Michel was a sight to behold! Our tour guide, Nataly (?), was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of details about the places we visited, though sometimes it felt like she was talking to herself. All in all, my husband and I are glad we did this tour.

Thanks to our wonderful guide, Helene, and the very caring driver, Magomed, we enjoyed this 2-day trip. The only sad thing was that we didn’t order the tour for longer. All the historical explanations, delicious tastings, and magnificent sites will forever stay in our memories. Thank you, Tour Up in Europe!
