Disappointed with Viator not the trip

Just to be clear the tour was fantastic. The poor rating is due to several factors. Less than 24h prior to the tour I was informed via email that the three day tour had to be cancelled or dropped down to a two day tour. Of course I still wanted to do the tour and opted for the two day tour which was a hassle to get changed and figured out. Now mind you I had an extra day in Paris to figure out and find a hotel which was incredibly last minute and very expensive. I made it to the tour the next morning and I asked the guide about a refund for the lost day and she said that I needed to reach out to Viator. The only options to get ahold of Viator is to call or message via WhatsApp. After several hours and attempts with at least ten different representatives I was refunded 200 for the lost day from a 900 trip… math didn’t add up to me there but I am not one to complain but I was very disappointed with Viator and will not use this service in the future. Wrote the review not to complain but to provide awareness.

Laila was an amazing tour guide. Impressive base of knowledge. Sh kept the group on schedule, very nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and meeting others in our group.
Normandy trip with friends

Omaha beach and the cemetery of those who lost their lives in the war and laid to rest in Normandy.
Our tour guide, Layla was very knowledgeable of all the areas we visited which made the trip quite memorable. The days went by too quickly. The bus driver, Brian, was also amazing, navigating the narrow roads with many turns. Wonderful trip.
A Great Combination Tour

This tour covered a lot of places in 3 days. Our tour guide Layla was outstanding. Her knowledge of the places we visited and the commentary she provided made for a very informative and educational experience. Would highly recommend. The only negative was that we felt the bus could have been a little cleaner.
