A great introduction to Le Marais

We had arrived in Paris just hours before, and this was a great introduction to Le Marais, the area where we were staying. We learned about the history, the architecture and the culture of the area. Adrien, our guide, gave us many suggestions of places that we should visit. He was very knowledgeable and quite personable.

We had a guy who was a teacher who did our tour he did an amazing job. He was really good about showing us places and things that we hadn’t seen yet on our trip. When we started our walking tour he asked us what we were interested in and what we had seen or wanted to see. It is a lot of walking if you want to get as much out of the tour as you can. I think we walked 5 miles just on this tour. I definitely recommend this tour.

I travelled to Paris with my three sisters the first week of April. We booked a 1/2 day private tour with Discover Walks to Montmartre and the Marais district. Our professional guide Florent provided information about the history and artists who made these areas their home. We walked beautiful streets, saw many gardens and had a great time. It is a perfect tour for both first time and returning visitors. Finally when we were finished, Florent recommended a French bistro for lunch at a place we would have never found on our own. I high recommend this company and especially this guide for your Paris trip!
