Great Overview of Top Places in Paris

Nina_mirabadi, Dec 2024

Rawda was the best! She showed us all the cool view points, gave a great tour of the Louvre, and helped with all the metro transitions and went at a reasonable pace. This was definitely a quick pass by all the important stuff, so not the most independent, but Rawda still made it feel like we learned a lot. She is also a great photographer!

Responses from Craig L

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that Rawda made your Louvre tour so memorable. It sounds like she provided a perfect balance of informative guidance while ensuring you got to see all the key highlights at a comfortable pace. We're glad you enjoyed the experience and even got some great photos along the way. Rawda truly knows how to make a quick pass through the Louvre both educational and enjoyable!

Great day in Paris!

Barbara_R, Dec 2024

The tour was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with the most memorable part of the day being the Louvre Museum. Learning the history & seeing the collections was remarkable. The Seine River cruise was a relaxing end to the day prior to going to the Eiffel Tower for our evening entry. The view from the Eiffel Tower at dusk was amazing & we had a bonus with the light show. It was a great day with a wonderful guide.

When scheduling these tours make sure you get paper copies of entry tickets for events your guide isn't accompanying you on. We did have an issue with all tickets being emailed to the person who booked the tour & not being able to forward individual tickets to group members.

This is a walking tour, I got almost 26,000 steps for the day. If you are not physically fit and/or have issues walking, you might want to look for a different tour. Our guide was very gracious & worked with our groups limitations.

Responses from Craig L

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour, especially the Louvre Museum, the Seine River cruise, and the stunning view from the Eiffel Tower at dusk. It sounds like you had a memorable day with a wonderful guide.

We appreciate your tip about ensuring everyone has paper copies of entry tickets for events the guide isn’t accompanying you on. We’ll work on improving the process to make it easier for groups to manage their tickets.

As for the walking aspect of the tour, thank you for highlighting that it's quite physically demanding. We're glad to hear your guide was accommodating to your group's needs. If anyone has mobility concerns, choosing a different tour might indeed be the best option. Thanks again for your valuable feedback!

Mediocre tour

Hilary_S, Dec 2024

Tour touched on nearly all of the great Paris sites, however the guide was The Tour Guy subpar. I ended up going on similar tour with different tour group and received far more information about each site we stopped at along the way.

Responses from Craig L

Rushed and not clear to exact entrance to the Eiffel Tower, entrance #1 or #2, a long walk between

Nikkie_S, Dec 2024

The tour began in the morning and tour guide rushed us from one place to another. Hardly any time to take a picture and almost lost the guide a few times. The morning guide told us to meet the evening guide for the Eiffel tour at the base of the tower at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. We arrived an hour before the tour at the base and we even contacted the tour via text to confirm that we were there at the #2 entrance. They replied back 6 min later asking where we were after I just sent them a text that we were at the #2 entrance, 30 minutes prior to the meeting time. They never replied back. We ran to entrance #1 at 9:50pm to check if the Tour Guide was there. Waited and bought our own tickets to enter the Eiffel Tower at 10:16pm. We got in line for the elevator to top of the tower. I then see the Tour Guide enter about 10:30pm in line. I stopped her and asked where she was at and she said the tour tried to call. I said no they didn't. Here is my text to the tour, my call log to the tour and my email. She said just send them a request for refund. Really? What customer service! Never again!

Highly disappointed!

Katie_M, Dec 2024

We had a limited time in Paris which is why we booked this expensive tour. The guided visit the Louvre Museum was the main reason I was willing to pay this obscene amount. We were notified less than 24 hr before our scheduled tour that we would not be attending the Louvre. Thought this was cheeky since their cancellation policy requires you to give 24 hours notice in order to get a full refund. They still ran other tours they had to the Louvre which was very infuriating!

Responses from Craig L

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent changes to your tour. Due to capacity restrictions related to the Olympics preparations, we were unable to include the Louvre portion as originally planned. We understand how last-minute changes can be disappointing, and we regret any frustration this has caused. Traveling during such a significant event often brings unexpected adjustments, and we appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.
