At 1:30 pm, our guide will drop off at Bellecour Square in front of Lyon Office de Tourisme. The perfect wine tour for syrah and viognier lovers !

Stop atTheatre de Vienne
On the road, stop in Vienne to enjoy a spectacular view on the 2000 year’s old roman theatre and the stunning panorama on the Rhone Valley. With your guide, learn about the "terroir" & the different grapes characteristics of the Northern Cotes du Rhone region.

Stop atAmpuis
Cross Ampuis town, the world capital of Syrah and visit "Cote Rotie" vineyards literally "roasted hillside". Drive on the precipitous vertigo inducing terraced slopes of "Cote Brune" and "Cote Blonde" and appreciate the 30 to 60 degree angles hills bathed in sun facing the beautiful Rhône River.

Stop atTupin-et-Semons
Push the door of a first family winery and enjoy a private tour of the vineyards: learn about the different jobs the vinegrowers have to do along the years to get the best possible grape quality. Then go the wine tasting roo, and enjoy 6 different Cotes du Rhone wines among them Condrieu, St Joseph or/and Cote Rotie appellations. Very nice tour and wine experience

Very nice tour with Olivier. Well organized, everything as planned and on schedule. The minibus was nice and comfortable Olivier shared at lot of his knowledge about the wines, grapes, terroirs, producers etc. The tasting was nice, informative and with good examples of different wines from the northern Rhône area. Olivier also has a great knowledge of the area in general and it’s history . If interested in wines we strongly recommend tours.

My family can’t rave about this tour enough! Olivier brings expertise to the table that few tour drivers can provide. Having a background in wine, but not the region, I had many important questions regarding production in the area! Olivier was such a great resource for Rhône as a whole, in addition to each specific producer we visited! Plus, he made our travel to and from the vineyards effortless!
