The tour was an excellent experience. Our guide Max was extremely knowledgeable about the popular spots, but he also shed light on many aspects of the cemetery's cultural history and what role it played and still plays in Paris and France. Max also answered all the questions that came up during the visit. Our expectations were clearly exceeded. Overall, the tour is highly recommended.

Wow wow. This was the highlight of our Paris’s trip. We have been to Paris several times and this ultimately was our favorite activity. Max is a walking encyclopedia. The facts and history he knows is amazing. He is funny, kind, personable and full of energy. We loved it. Would do it again. We feel we have a new friend in Max. Truly a wonderful emotional experience that we shall never forget.

Max is knowledgeable and clearly loves the history of the people and their eras, we saw the expected (famous names) but also the unexpected (beautiful and very moving memorials).

I had such an amazing time on the tour with Max! Before we started, he asked if there were any specific tombs I wanted to see, and he made sure to include them in our tour. I really appreciated that personal approach! Max is not only super knowledgeable but also incredibly engaging. He shared so many fascinating stories about the graves we visited, and the three hours just flew by. Plus, I have to say, I really missed hearing British English—Max’s accent just added to the experience. If you're looking for a guide who’s dedicated and really knows his stuff, Max is your guy. You won’t regret🤍

Max did a great job showing us both the famous peoples graves as well as detailed stories of background and graves that had unique stories and features. Also an abundance of historical information of the history of the cemetery as well as France in general.
It was a most enjoyable tour and the pleasant tree lined cemetery was a great respite from the busy city streets.
