Among the Parisian bridges that make the link with the Ile de la Cité, this one is certainly one of the most popular. Ironically, in the series, it is actually the Pont Neuf… in Toulouse that appears on the screen. An error that did not fail to amuse Internet users when season 2 was released. Close to the Royal Palace, the Place de Valois is often present in the series. It is supposed to house the Savoir agency, in which Emily Cooper works. Emily’s boss Sylvie makes a pitch to Hästens, a Swedish luxury bed company, but the client is not impressed with her traditional marketing idea. Emily then pitches her concept for a disruptive and interactive campaign placing the beds at well-known Paris locations. The client likes her idea and Emily goes on to activate what she calls a “social media installation” at La Place Dalida, placing the bed on the street, in high traffic locations for audiences to engage with and share on their social channels.

In the series, Gabriel’s Restaurant is just down the street from Emily’s Apartment and while often filming locations are completely fictional, it’s not the case for “Emily in Paris”. In reality, “Les Deux Compère” is an Italian restaurant called “Terra Nerra” and is located just next to the filming location of Emily’s flat.
