Addie was our guide. She was knowledgeably, engaging and her wonderful personality made me feel privileged to have her. She was equally as outstanding as the Louvre. Definitely five stars!

While Our tour guide was good, Anis, I selected a skip the line tour and waited in line for an hour. This was due to the Olympics, so not the fault of the tour company but what does bother me is this was $500 for two hours guided through the louvre. I could have bought all four of my family members for $66 so we essentially paid a little over $400 for two hours of guided tour. Also, in the future would not book such a late tour as a lot of the museums and castles closed by six. So If we had booked an earlier time, we could have had some time on our own in the museum as it was it felt very rushed in the two hours that we had. It would be nice if Viator or the tour companies would point that out that these places close so you have limited time. The tour company did warn me prior to going that because of the Olympics we could not do the skip the line and did offer to let me cancel. However, they said the line would probably take about 15 minutes so we went ahead and kept in the line was an hour, which I kind of argued about the price at that point the line is part of what I paid. They essentially told me I benefited from having a guide, but not that benefit.
Also, at this late point, if I would have canceled on my tour, we wouldn’t maybe not have been able to go at all so I went ahead and kept the tour

We are glad your enjoyed your guide and that you admit that we were completely transparent with you. Thank you for admitting that we had absolutely no control over the Olympic impact on the tour. We communicated everything with you over 9 days before your tour where we ensured that you accepted the terms before we carried on with the tour. To make it easy for you, we let your two hour semi -private tour be a private one at no extra cost on the tour day (as other members of your group we late and put them with another guide) and even spent 3 hours with you instead of two on the tour day to account for the wait time that was not at all within our control (but due to the Olympics security checks at the louvre) that we had warned you severally before the tour and we even offered to cancel your tour multiple times free of charge to avoid the possibility to wait in line and you insisted that we carry on.
We understand that it was not an ideal situation, but considering all the ways that we ensured you were well taken care of and how we prioritized your well-being, I'm very surprised by this review. We ensured that we provided you with a 2 hour guided tour experience (with an additional one hour for the wait time - total 3 hours) with one of the best expert guides of the louvre. We ensured clear and open communication and that you accepted the possibility of the wait time due to the Olympics check this week if 18th-26th of July. The louvre closing time is also public knowledge and we have no control over that either.
We've done our absolute best on this matter and are being falsely maligned by you both privately and publicly.
In any case we wish you the very best with your travels.
