- If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Galeries Lafayette reserves the right to cancel the class. In this case, you will be reimbursed for the entirety of the amount paid. You may cancel on your behalf, without fees, up to 48 hours in advance. After this time, the full amount of the class will be charged. For the sake of your health avoid eatingtoo much fat, sugar and salt.

Great time with great food

The chef made our time very memorable and explained in detail all intricacies of the dish. Learned a lot in very cozy atmosphere, recommended!

Since the class is in a department store, we expected more of a demonstration and were absolutely delighted that it was very much hands on. The chef was comfortably bilingual -- the other four in the class were French speaking -- and the quality of the instruction was very high level. For about what a good lunch would have cost the two of us in a pleasant Paris restaurant, we were treated to a great learning and dining experience. Highly recommended!!

Very poor cooking experience

We’d booked for one vegetarian on the course and were told at the start that they were only doing a chicken dish. The chef was not prepared to try and accommodate the vegetarian.
No real teaching or explanation or help. The chef just prepared the dish and we had to follow the best we could..
I asked for red wine to accompany the lunch and was told only white would be served.
When i eventually persuaded the chef to let me have red i given given a very small glass and told that was all I was allowed. In the meantime my wife and two friends had a bottle of white left for them.
All in all a very poor experience. Definitely not worth the money or the time
