Not worth it - too fast and too long to wait between tours (which they don't tell you)
Rebecca_D, Dec 2024
Versailles trip was just so so. We had a new guide and while very nice, totally unexperienced in leading a group. Furthermore, no where on the itinerary for this double excursion does it say you will actually tour Versailles then come back to the tour office for an over 2 hour wait THEN meet up with another guide for the Louvre tour at a different location altogether. We had another tour booked for 5p so we had to rush through the Louvre. We ended up with less than 2 hours at the Louvre - not nearly enough time. The only thing that saved this tour was Divana (?) our tour guide who was brilliant! Full of information! and the best tour guide we had of anywhere we toured!
Responses from Arnaud B
Dear Rebecca,
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent trip to Versailles and the Louvre. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the scheduling and coordination issues you encountered. We aim to provide clear and detailed itineraries, and it is concerning to hear that the information about the tour structure was not adequately communicated.
Your comments about the wait time between tours and the transition to the Louvre have been noted, and we will review our itinerary descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the day's schedule. However, please note that this time was allocated for your lunch break, not just for waiting.
We regret that the new guide at Versailles, despite having over 20 years of experience, did not fully meet your expectations. While we aim to provide exceptional guides, we understand the importance of experience for a seamless tour. Your feedback will help us enhance our training and support for new guides.
Regarding the rush through the Louvre, we don't feel responsible for that. You chose to reserve another activity for 5 pm, leaving less than 2 hours for the Louvre. You could have spent additional time in the museum on your own after the guided tour.
However, we are delighted to hear that "Vanina" made a positive impact on your experience. We will pass on your kind words to her, as it is always encouraging to know when our guides exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression.
We appreciate your insights and will use them to enhance our services. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like to discuss your experience further or if there is anything we can do to address your concerns.
Thank you for choosing our tour, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more seamless and enjoyable experience in the future.
Warm regards,
Arnaud

Busy and Fun day in Paris
Marti_S, Dec 2024
We had a wonderful time on this tour! My husband and four children ages 5-14 all enjoyed it. If you have small children I would definitely advise that this is a long and busy day for them. My children really enjoyed Versailles both the palace and the garden! Of course you cannot see all of the Louvre in one day, it's impossible so we know when booking this that we would only be able to see highlights. While it was a short amount of time we did see a lot and it was long enough that the kids were definitely ready to move on after. I really enjoyed our tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and that this was a small group.

Bonjour Marti_S,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your family had such a great time on the tour. It's fantastic that your children enjoyed both Versailles and the gardens – they're truly special places! We appreciate your understanding about the Louvre; there's so much to see, and we're glad you felt the highlights were enough for your family. Our tour guides love sharing their knowledge, and we're happy to hear that it made your experience even better. Thank you for choosing our tour, and we hope to see you again on your next adventure!
