During your trip to Versailles Palace, you will drive through the City of Versailles, born out of the will of Louis the XIVth, the Sun King, in the 17th Century and the capital of the Kingdom of France for over a century, from 1682 to 1789.

The chateau and gardens count among the most prestigious monuments of the world’s artistic heritage and are certainly the finest and most complete achievement of 17th-century French art. Former residence of the ‘Sun King’ Louis XIV, this sumptuous royal palace was home to three of France’s most illustrious Kings for over 100 years. The guided tour of the palace includes the State Apartments of the King and Queen, Royal Chapel, and Hall of Mirrors, a richly decorated gallery that boasts 357 mirrors, french bay windows, and crystal chandeliers.

- Ticket for the Musical Fountains / Musical Gardens at Versailles is included in the price if the day of your visit corresponds to one of these events.
- Small-Group Tour in Versailles (Group up to 16 participants during the Guided Visit)
- XSmall-Group Tour at the Louvre (Group up to 6 Adult Participants during the Guided Visit)
- Clients must be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and there will be no refund if tour is missed.
- Though the access to the castle is a priority access with a time reserved, you may still have to wait on arrival, especially during peak season, period during which there is a lot of visitors.

Oliver was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. He dropped us off at a cafe so that we could have some breakfast beforehand.

Not worth it - too fast and too long to wait between tours (which they don't tell you)

Versailles trip was just so so. We had a new guide and while very nice, totally unexperienced in leading a group. Furthermore, no where on the itinerary for this double excursion does it say you will actually tour Versailles then come back to the tour office for an over 2 hour wait THEN meet up with another guide for the Louvre tour at a different location altogether. We had another tour booked for 5p so we had to rush through the Louvre. We ended up with less than 2 hours at the Louvre - not nearly enough time. The only thing that saved this tour was Divana (?) our tour guide who was brilliant! Full of information! and the best tour guide we had of anywhere we toured!

We regret that the new guide at Versailles, despite having over 20 years of experience, did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the rush through the Louvre, we don't feel responsible for that. You chose to reserve another activity for 5 pm, leaving less than 2 hours for the Louvre. You could have spent additional time in the museum on your own after the guided tour.

Busy and Fun day in Paris

We had a wonderful time on this tour! My husband and four children ages 5-14 all enjoyed it. If you have small children I would definitely advise that this is a long and busy day for them. My children really enjoyed Versailles both the palace and the garden! Of course you cannot see all of the Louvre in one day, it's impossible so we know when booking this that we would only be able to see highlights. While it was a short amount of time we did see a lot and it was long enough that the kids were definitely ready to move on after. I really enjoyed our tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and that this was a small group.
