Stop atEcole Militaire
The Ecole Militaire is the place of our meeting point. You will be welcomed by a guide and an assistant who will equip you with a virtual reality headset. They will explain the visit to you and give you instructions on how to use the VR headset. Once the visit has started, you will go back in time. You will discover the Ecole Militaire and the Champ-de-Mars in 1880, immersing yourself in a 360° modeled environment. You will be surprised to discover the extent of the Champ-de-Mars before the arrival of the Eiffel Tower. You will take your place among the 19th century Parisians who came to watch the parade of cuirassiers from the Ecole Militaire.

Throughout the visit, you will walk through the Parc du Champ-de-Mars, to the foot of the Eiffel Tower for a grand finale. You will enjoy a visit mixing the real with the virtual. You will witness the construction of the Eiffel Tower and you will witness its opening to the public for the first time during the incredible Universal Exhibition of 1889. What a delightful experience

Vladina was an amazing and extremely friendly guide, with a remarkable ability to welcome her guests. The experience (45-50 minutes) )was extremely agreeable, extremely educational, and highly recommended. Virtual reality is an amazing technology and this tour allows for a great understanding of the development of the Eiffel Tower and its logistics, including political and historical perspectives. It was money very well spent.

Experiencing the construction of the Eiffel Tower and finding yourself in the middle of the 1989 Universal Exhibition, there is no better way to learn history. The guide Michel, in addition to being friendly, knows his subject very well and in addition to teaching us the history, shares anecdotes with us.
We feel completely safe, even wearing a helmet in the middle of the Champ de Mars, the guide is watching ;)
