Nice tour, way too expensive
victorsM1542CJ, Dec 2024
Had a Nice tour around the city of Cognac, children age 7 to 13 enjoyed themselves. Price is way too high, €8 would be reasonable.

Thanks for the review Victor. Nice to know that you had a nice tour around the city of Cognac , we will surely work on the price.
A good way to visit a new area.

We enjoyed this as a different way to see the town. Especially as we went off season so there wasn’t a great deal to do. We did really struggle with one clue near the church as we were looking round the wrong side of the building. Being able to do this in your own time was a big plus for us but it was quite expensive for what it was.

Wanted to leave a review for future potential customers to consider.
Pros:
1. Amazing idea, seems like the only one of its kind that I can find now for self guided tour in game form.
2. You can play it whenever whereever. Own time own target. We paid and played it immediately. But wld be good if you can leave around 3-4 hours to walk around and complete the game!
3. Great way to see the city and learn about different facts of the city especially when there’s really nothing much to do besides visit the different cognac houses.
Cons:
1. Website interface isn’t the best but is not hard to figure out.
2. Not very detailed explanations of the city or the locations we’re at. Some facts does not seem to be related to where we were at all and were just random facts.
3. A lot of guessing involved for the questions as there is literally no direction on what you’re supposed to be looking at, and some objects it refers to is 50m away from the site.
But overall loved the experience. Will definitely do it again in a different city!

To answer on some cons: Indeed, the information about the city is limited. It really is a game and a different way to discover the city.
