This tour will help you to discover Paris not just as a city with beautiful buildings and Eiffel tower, but also as one of the historical centers of Europe. You'll discover how Paris became like it is right now, which difficulties it met and a lot of other super interesting stories about French history. Highly recommending.

My husband & I have been to Paris before & had hit all the high spots. Our trip to Paris this time was as a few day lay over after a 15 day tour of Morocco. We were looking for something that would show us “ the off the beaten path” part of Paris. Lucie & this tour did it. Lucie with her pleasant smile & picture album helped us to see Paris a bit differently. The down side, no fault of hers was that the preparations for the Olympics had some of the building covered in commercial ads. Learning that kings lived in the Louvre at one time & that Notre Dome was not considered special & it was Victor Hugo’s “ Hunchback” that made it an icon. We were on tour with the remarkable Lucy. She shared excellent stories about the history of Paris. She was very kind and patient and explained things again if we didn't remember all at the first time. She also took a lot of pictures! I would love to have her as my guide on every trip.
