This was a long day, but we covered a lot of history. Boy knows his history and has a real reverence for veterans. He was able to show us a few off the beaten track sights and he had a wealth of knowledge of the area.

His van is very comfortable and there is not a lot of driving in between stops which is nice. He was also able to add an extra stop we requested to see which was a nice touch.

We highly recommend spending the day with Boy on this tour. You will learn a lot and see a lot.

Our host, Boy Eysbroek, is a passionate story teller of all the amazing events of courage, dedication and sometimes luck that happened here 80 years ago. He is a member of The Greatest Generation Foundation that does so much to honor these heroes and includes a renovated house used by veterans when they come to visit. It was a former German command post and still has the original stairs and paintings on some walls done by the German soldiers. The rest of the house is completely renovated for the veterans. Boy’s guidance throughout the area is rich with stories and information we would have never discovered any other way. It was an experience my wife and I will cherish and never forget. If you come to visit, Boy Eysbroek is the man you want to make your day as moving and unforgettable as he did for us.

Our tour with Neptune Battle Tours was excellent! Much of this is due to the owner and our guide Boy Eysbroek. His knowledge about D-Day preparations, executions and impact was phenomenal. This is hands down the best tour I have ever been on! Our guide, Boy, has extensive knowledge about the area and about WWII. He lives in the area and has spent years researching and meeting with the veterans. He shares their personal stories and other stories that are not well known. He is like a walking history book. Even when we were driving to each location, he could tell us the history of the places we passed. For example, he showed us places where US soldiers were first buried prior to the creation of the American Cemetery Memorial, the fields that were flooded by the German army, and a German grave site. Boy also took us to a special place that most people don’t get to go.

I went on the tour with my husband, our parents and 2 kids (ages 9 and 11). Boy made the tour fun and interesting and was very patient with the kids. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are in the area. I guarantee you will see and learn things you didn’t learn in history class.

Our family of four (two tweens and two adults) had an amazing time. The tour was amazing and took us places that we could have never gone or experienced on a large group tour - every question we asked, Boy knew the answer. He gave an appropriate amount of time to take everything in and the day flew by and Boy was not concerned about making sure we wrapped up at a certain time but cared most that we had a great experience. Absolutely worth the cost. I had no clue how much there was to see, and my only regret is that we didn't plan an extra day to go back and explore some more.
