Vieux Lyon tour

Alex delivered a fantastic tour of Vieux-Lyon that was exactly what I had asked for. He was knowledgeable, networked, professional and funny. Everybody in my group of 4 liked him a lot and we saw things we never would have found without him. For me the two highlights were the Cathedral (sculpture, clock) and the silk shop and workshop. He also recommended a great restaurant for lunch afterwards.

The Conference I was planning to attend was entirely online, and the social programme was also converted into virtual visits over Zoom, which proved an excellent opportunity to get to know the city; at the end everybody was looking forward to being able to visit in person as soon as possible. Marie our guide, was able to help us discover old Lyon and its historical and architectural particularities in an hour. A bit academic, but fun and informative! Even without being a great athlete, the tour is easy to do, without any particular effort.
