Confusing

Maps14921661667, May 2024

A bit confusing . We could not find our way , and the map provided at the entrance desk is not quite clear. The most interesting part of the museum (first floor) was closed.

Such an exceptional place deserves a better communication!

There Was Not a Line!

I could not get my phone to show actual ticket. It indicated I had paid but I couldn’t get in without the actual ticket. We needed WiFi and there was none. My husband went back to the car to get his phone where they were downloaded. Friends taught me how to take a photo so I can reproduce a ticket easily. Tickets to the abbey are sold at Tourist Information and at the Abbey with no lines. Their website is a little challenging. Buy your tickets when you get there.

What a magical site for history lovers!

A huge thank you to Speaker Guide Jean-Bernard for sharing his passion for this wonderful abbey and for his literary advice!

Good visit, for a reasonable Award. A place steeped in history. Missing pieces, yes. But we have to put it all in historical context. And we understand better. It's amazing. I recommend.
