Highly recommend Vinoloire Wine Tours!!

Had an amazing day with Alycea from Loire Valley Wine Tour…
… we visited a small producer and saw the vines up close, seeing how the clay, limestone, and flint impact these amazing wines, then a renowned vineyard dating back to the 14th century (with an amazing lunch), and lastly a larger producer where we got to try wines of all types and ages. It was truly a magnificent day and one my wife and parents will remember! Can not recommend enough ‼️
Much thanks Vincent!

Vincent and his colleague Alycea arranged the perfect for our group of 10. Our group has some knowledgeable and curious wine enthusiasts, and Vincent and Alycea were wonderful in accommodating our wide range of education. We absolutely loved the day, Vincent took much care in selecting 3 wineries to highlight different experiences in the cellar, tasting room, and in the vineyard. Lunch was arranged at a gorgeous Michelin Green Star restaurant, with wines expertly picked by our hosts. We greatly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend Vincent's team to anyone traveling to the Loire.

We recently enjoyed a great day with Elisha doing a private tour of 3 wineries in the Loire valley. We started with a winery situated in a cave, and sampled some delicious wines and gorgeous cheeses Elisha had brought along. The next stop was a 2nd generation wine producer and we had an interesting lunch and tasting with him & Elisha. The 3rd winery was a bit of a letdown because they had had a power outage just before we arrived and it was almost like they totally weren’t expecting us. It was pretty obvious that we were an imposition and they wished we’d just leave so we quickly moved on. The tour itself should have finished here but because of the lousy weather we hadn’t been able to tour any of the vineyards themselves so Elisha to her credit, scrambled to book another winery to go to to make it a full day. Elisha herself was great, very knowledgeable and we would definitely recommend her. We were however disappointed in Vincent’s business attitude. We had contacted him in early February looking to book a private tour for 2 people in early May, so 3 months in advance. We agreed on the date, time, pick up address, and cost, which we paid in advance, and that Vincent was available to personally guide us. There was no further contact prior to the day so we were expecting a man to arrive at the hotel. You can imagine our surprise when Elisha arrived, (on time) and said she would be taking us instead. We did cross paths with Vincent on the day though because he’d taken a young American couple instead on a 1/2 day tour. When you agree 3 months in advance that you are going to take someone on a tour and then decide you don’t want to do the tour surely it’s only polite to let the paying customer know at least 24 hours before that you’re going to palm them off. This is not to say that Elisha was not good, she was excellent, but the key to any small business is communication, and surely politeness costs nothing. I suggest if you want to book Vincent you ask for some sort of guarantee he will turn up.
