Dinner was great. Big portions. Service was superb and no problem with last minute diets.

Beautiful outdoor dining. Excellent service including a great wine recommendation. My rack of lamb was small, had too much fat and gristle and too much Demi-glace. My dining partner had grilled beef- also mediocre. We have no problem paying high prices for fine food but the dinner was at best a fair (not great) value.

The menu doesn’t match the chef or the chef doesn’t match the menu. The food was out of range or misunderstood. We were very excited to try after seeing the offering online, but the food was lacking on many levels.

Sorry to say, this is a miss. Don’t go.

Despite the amazing atmosphere and willingness of service staff, the food was far from worthy of what is described. At this price, too, I’m concerned why. Disappointed.

The restaurant was almost empty yet we were seated by a pillar which required the servers to go around and behind each time.

The food was terrible - there’s no other way to describe it - especially given the extremely high prices. The foie gras starter was mediocre and served with an extremely sweet sauce. The gravlax was thick pieces of what seemed to be totally raw salmon decorated bizarrely. It tasted very fishy and oily and was horrible.

Strangely the mains come with nothing else on the plate. You have to choose a “side” none of which complemented the dishes perhaps with the exception of mushrooms with the steak. The fillet steak was dry, overcooked and tough - the mushrooms were lukewarm and very undercooked. The miso cod was ok but the millefeuille of vegetables was a barely cooked stack of carrots, celeriac and perhaps sweet potatoes. Truly awful.

We didn’t bother with desserts.

Altogether an appalling, expensive meal.

Great service but food is almost inedible. I can not imagine that there is a French chef in the kitchen. The overpriced fish was not the one on the menu but a ‘cheap’ alternative was served. Clashing tastes and none of the charm of the usual Provence kitchen. Will not return.
