Stop atAix-en-Provence
You will meet your english-speaking wine expert guide in front of our meeting point (centrally located) in Marseille. Your guide will drive you in a clean, comfortable & A/C minivan. Around 10am, you will arrive to the wine region of Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire. In the morning, visit and tastings at 1 winery and a goat farm (cheeses tastings). Get about 1h45 free time for lunch in the lively city of Aix en Provence. In the afternoon visit a 2nd winery. Return to Marseille at about 4.30pm (same place where we met) You will taste some of the finest Rosés from Provence but also powerful and well-balanced reds, aromatic and lively whites. We offer you the opportunity to see different ways to work : from the winemaking & aging rooms to the bottling lines, you will see everything! Your guide will also explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the famous "terroir" but also the picking, pruning, harvesting and many other subjects in a relaxed and educational way.

A lovely day of wine tasting
Becca_S, Nov 2024
Our driver, Eric, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We learned quite a bit about wine in Provence, and enjoyed both the wine and cheese immensely.

Becca, thank you for your warm feedback. It was our honor to host you, and we’re glad you enjoyed our special wine & cheese tour. We hope to see you again in Provence soon!
Ok, but not great
Bridget_F, Nov 2024
Driver, Eric, was great. Very accommodating. Limited wine and cheese, more should be offered. The second stop didn’t have cheese at all and kept us secluded to one area of the restaurant even though no other patrons were there.

Dear Bridget,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you appreciated Eric's service.
However, we can understand your concerns and we're sorry you didn't take full advantage of your visit.
Please, note that this tour only includes one goat cheese farm in the morning and one winery in the afternoon. (That's why there was no cheese tasting at the second estate, as mentioned in the program description).
Then, the second winery has specially designed a tasting area in a corner of the restaurant to ensure a warm, comfortable experience with seating available. We're sorry it didn't meet with your expectations.
We hope to welcome you again in Provence on another tour.
Cheers
Can’t Miss Experience

We had an excellent day with Eric his knowledge on the history of the area and the production of the wine left us with lots of memorable fun facts and information. Along with this he was very friendly and personable. Overall we had an excellent day exploring the area and trying some fantastic wines and cheeses.

Take this tour! It’s wonderful!
Lauren_C, Nov 2024
We had an incredible experience with Eric. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the regions visited, the local culture, and the wines. One stop was a micro winery with terrific goat cheese and wine, with a lunch stop in Aix en Provence. The final stop was a more robust winery with a suite of offerings. Each stop presented something unique and versatile about the wine and the surrounding region. I would recommend this tour (specifically Eric) to anyone visiting Marseille. Transportation was clean, comfortable, and well ventilated and the meeting spot was convenient, too.

Our guide was very...

Our guide was very knowledgeable about wine making in France.
We only visited two wineries so that is hardly a full day!

Thank you Marcy for taking the time to share your comments with us. I understand that you would have appreciated a visit to another winery. But the tour you chose is a combination of wine, goat cheese from a local producer and time to visit the charming and lively city of Aix-en-Provence. However, we do offer other tours that are more wine-focused and allow you to visit 3 vineyards during the day.
Hope to see you again in Provence!
