We completed the Latin Quarter Walking Tour with Sophia, who is engaging and brilliant!
Sophia , being a resident in the Latin quarter for years, enrichess the tour with anecdotes from her own living experiences. She shares a great deal of knowledge about the history and politics of the neighbourhood and I appreciated her as a guide immensely!!
If you have this incredible person as your guide you will go home with a lot to think about and a desire to explore even more.

Glad to have this tour - number of interesting facts and stories about Latin quarter. Recommed for people who like walking in narrow spaces, which is not often met in Paris.
History Comes Alive in the Latin Quarter!

Our guide Sophia was extremely knowledgeable. She gave a detailed history of the French Quarter backed by personal stories that made the history come alive. The Église St-Séverin and the story behind its fascinating stained glass windows and the rebuilding of Notre Dame were highlights as was the Luxembourg Garden where the tour ended. It was perfect place to grab a seat or lay on the grass to take in the beauty of the gardens. Sophia included lots of information on sites that were outside the scope of the tour so that we could explore on our own. Very enjoyable tour. Thank you so much Sophia.
