Brilliant tour, extremely knowledgable guide

John Haslock our tour guide was brilliant. He had a fantastic historical knowledge not only of WW1 campaigns but also other wars which he readily chatted about to my son who is a real military history buff. He also adapted the tour for us adding in a couple of extra bits. He also booked us into a brilliant restaurant for lunch in Pozieres which is a WW1 themed place where the owner has a massive collection of artifices. John couldn’t do enough to make our trip enjoyable. We've now realised we’ve only scratched the surface of the Somme and will be booking to come back and do another tour with him. Would highly recommend him!

Everything was so memorable! Alison was an absolute Gem of a guide. The breadth of knowledge she had really took our breath away with places we went to and so easily given to us. Even to the smallest of things she thought would be of interest to us. You truly have a wonderful guide in your employ.

Great way to learn about the stories of WW1

Alison, our tour guide was outstanding. She took us to many fascinating places that were part of the Somme Battlefield. She was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and showed us some very unusual places. It was a very memorable experience.
