This semi-private tour is designed to help first timers navigate all that the Louvre has to offer, as well as surprise those who think they know it all. See statues such as the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Discuss paintings by Delacroix and Michelangelo, explore the underground Medieval Moat, and take in the opulent Apollo Gallery. From the Mona Lisa to the 19th-century masters, your guide will show you what you need to see at the Louvre, as well as a few special treats along the way.

Marc was fantastic! It was a great tour of highlights, particularly of note was his knowledge of archaeology, and the history of the fort that pre-dated the buildings that stand today. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a few hours at a comfortable pace.

Ana was wonderful. Incredibly knowledgeable and she catered to our family beautifully. Another small group was on our tour and impatient and departed really before the tour truly had a chance to begin, so we essentially got a private tour! We learned so much and by the end of the tour, many of the things she took the time to explain at the onset, really came around full circle by the end. The stories behind some of the sculptures and art work is what we will take away from the tour. My son’s favourite part was Victory and mine too, but the stories behind the Mona Lisa is what my daughter loved most. Thank you!!

A brilliant experience. Florian was an excellent guide - super knowledgeable and charming. He brought a very intelligent perspective to the experience, bringing together the history of the building itself and the various periods within the collection in a very engaging way.

We booked the tour mainly to take advantage of the group entry and save time, but Emma, our guide, made the experience very informative. We started the tour near Napoleon III’s apartment, slowly made our way to the Monalisa Paintings, and ended near Nike’s statue. She shared the history behind the technique, style, and materials at each stage. Thanks to this experience, we were able to appreciate the details of the artwork.
