This was Batobus and it was a Batobust!

Apparently I didn’t read the fine print and thought I had booked a boat from the Hop On Hop Off tour bus company. Having read reviews of Batobus, I would not have booked with them. It is a shabby boat, hot and stuffy with the only relief being on a crowded diesel smelling back landing. There are no bathrooms, no narration and the only refreshments were from a vending machine that I couldn’t get to work. Kind of a bust for my family. We didn’t hit all of the stops, preferring to walk.

It was very convenient. I would recommend getting an Uber from the Train station or airport if you’re a tourist who speaks little French and having them take you to this location of the Batobus. Bring raincoat as well ! Note Dame is under remodeling so no tours. Lots of vendors , shopping , restaurants. Wear waist Fanny packs due to reports of pick pockets .

What a great way to see the sights from a different angle, this was very relaxing and enjoyable and our 4 year old loved being on a boat. The huge windows and glass roof made it so easy to see everything

I took the boat cruise to get me to the Eiffel Tower, but I did stop at two other attractions on the way.

I gad a wonderful time, the views were amazing took lots of pictures to share with family and friends , nice atmosphere, very clean great customer service.
