The best way to start as a tourist in Lyon is to do a walking tour with Paul. In addition to learning about the historical and the cultural highlights of this attractive city in a highly engaging and entertaining manner, you’ll get lots of insider tips on where to eat and what to do to get the most out of your visit. We enjoyed it so much that we did another one covering a different area the following day with Paul. We wished we’d done it on the first day we arrived, not just before we left!

Fun, informative, a good mix of history, culture and things that “official history” doesn’t mention. Paul was very respectful that people lived/worked in the neighborhood, too which was lovely. We had already explored vieux Lyon, but realized how much we missed when seeing it with Paul. See traboules, St. Jean cathedral and the rose tower, get restaurant and sightseeing tips. Such an excellent tour!

Excellent walking tour.
Paul is so knowledgeable and told us so many interesting things about Lyon. In 2 hours, he showed us some wonderful sights, took us through secret passageways and explained many things from Lyonnaise food to the silk industry. Would strongly recommend this tour. Outstanding value!
